Description
2C12A Mortar System provides with solve the following combat missions:
► Defeat and suppress enemy manpower and weapons located open and in field type shelters;
► Defeat and suppress enemy manpower and weapons located at slide back slopes, in deep valleys, ravines and forests;
► Defeat (suppress) mortar batteries located mainly at slide back slopes, valleys, in light shelters and outside, as well as weapons located close to front edge of enemy defense;
► Destroy ditches, trenches, communication trenches and light field fortifications;
► Fire support and accompanying fire of infantry;
► Laying a smoke screen for the infantry attacking enemy defense, screening with smoke of enemy command posts, firing points, etc;
► Provide illumination of enemy defense front edge and firing points, command posts.
