Cooperation with Uganda


Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on October 13, 1962.

On February 9, 1965, a Trade Agreement was signed in Kampala between the Soviet Union and Uganda.

On December 10, 2012, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni visited Moscow.

By an agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Uganda dated August 21, 2014, the Russian-Ugandan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was established in May 2015.

The agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Uganda on military-technical cooperation was concluded on November 18, 2003 in Kampala.

Rostec State Corporation has a representative office in Uganda that ensures Rosoboronexport's interests.
